WATCH: ‘People Appreciate Truth,’ Netanyahu Tells Haley

Welcoming Haley to Israel, Netanyahu expressed gratitude for her defense of the Jewish state at a biased UN, where she always insists on telling the truth.

Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the United Nations, is on her first visit to Israel.

Haley was greeted warmly by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin and other dignitaries, all of whom appreciate her staunch support for the Jewish state and the changes she hopes to make at the UN.

“People appreciate truth,” Netanyahu told Haley.

In this video, he elaborates on that statement and the US envoy responds, saying what she hopes to achieve at the world body that until now has “bullied” Israel.
