Anti-Semitism is the only hate allowed at college “safe spaces.”
On American campuses today, many Jewish students who grew up with expectations of equality, inclusion and a nurturing learning environment are saddened to discover a harsh and ugly reality, one which is mostly ignored by college officials.
Avi Goldwasser, a pro-Israel advocacy leader, has just produced a new film for Americans for Peace and Tolerance (APT), titled “Hate Spaces: The Politics of Intolerance on Campus.” The film depicts real-life scenes of Jewish students being intimidated, hectored, threatened and openly hated on their own campuses.
The accepted ideology on campus seems to be that to be anti-Israel is to be truly progressive, and the result is very aggressive anti-Semitism.
