WATCH: ‘To Those who Sanctify Death We Sanctify Life,’ Declares Netanyahu

In response to the murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevach, an Israeli father of six, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu legalized the victim’s community, Havat Gilad.

By recognizing Havat Gilad as a legal community, Netanyahu has facilitated better access to electricity, water and other utilities, improving the lives of its residents.

Rabbi Shevach was Havat Gilad’s rabbi and volunteered as a medic for local communities.

The prime minister said that recognizing the town was Israel’s response to the murderers  “who sanctify death.”
