Dear Beloved Israeli Soldiers,
I hope and pray the following words are adequate to express how much each and everyone of you mean to me... all of you that put your life on the line , your future on hold, at stake so that there can be a real future for all of your people: Am Israel.
I can only imagine how much it takes – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually – to take on and put on your arm, on your heart the truth of your existence and to believe in God in a most remarkable, and beautiful way: In being a Soldier of Israel.

The Truth About the Peace Process

The Torah portion "Ki Tavo" (Deuteronomy 26:1-29:8) contains extensive discussions about the Land of Israel and the commandments that are unique to the land. The portion also contains the famous reference of the Jewish people being the "am segula", the "Chosen Nation" or the "Chosen People."
The Jews are certainly unique in world history. No other nation has survived exiles, persecutions, and holocausts as the Jewish people have.
