: Dear Beloved Israeli Soldiers,

I hope and pray the following words are adequate to express how much each and everyone of you mean to me… all of you that put your life on the line , your future on hold, at stake so that there can be a real future for all of your people: Am Israel.

I can only imagine how much it takes – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually – to take on and put on your arm, on your heart the truth of your existence and to believe in God in a most remarkable, and beautiful way: In being a Soldier of Israel. If there is one thing I just want you all to know it is that if it were not for you modern day Caleb’s and Joshua’s in Israel – Brave and strong men and women that do believe in the Promise of Israel – The hope of your forefathers fulfilled – Would there be an Israel – A free land and people – to value and hold dear?

How I pray and hope you all are kept safe in the battlefield. I can only imagine what feelings of uncertainty some, you all might feel inside as you head out in the field . But if there is one thing I do know, it is that you are all strong. You are all brave. And you all must be courageous when going out. Never let go of your brothers and sisters that fight , that fought alongside you – past, present and future… Always remember to love one another as brothers and sisters in the service of The Eternal – With an undying bond of truth, hope and loyalty to one another .

Always keep courage in each of your strong hearts by reminding each other that: God is with me and I am for my beloved people, land and destiny: My God.

My prayer for all the Soldiers of Israel is that you all remain strong and courageous in Your true God – no matter what happens – and that you always remember your brothers and sisters in arms in all the good and kindness you do to others. I have no doubt in my mind, in my own heart that you all are so beloved and cherished by HaShem – The loving and kind God – The God of the Children of Israel – whom you all descend from.

When the world clamors with ingratitude towards you and your people – to give up on your promise of Eretz Israel, of Am Israel: You all must continue to be brave and strong in God because not only all of Am Israel and her friends depend on you, God needs and will forever love you: Israel.

I send each one of you Soldiers of the Israel Army – A tight brotherly embrace, because even though I am not Jewish on the outside, in my heart you are all my brothers in arms.

With Gratitude and Shalom,

Edward Francisco Villa
