This account explicitly targets Jewish and pro-Israel authors, aiming to blacklist their work under the guise of activism.

This is not an isolated incident. In March 2024, a similar spreadsheet titled “Is Your Fav Author a Zionist?” went viral, inciting harassment against Jewish writers and their allies.

The content shared by these platforms directly mirrors dangerous propaganda strategies used throughout history to silence and demonize Jewish voices. As Holocaust historian Deborah Lipstadt warns, “The Holocaust began with words.”
The content spread by @zionistauthors perpetuates hate, intolerance, and dehumanization. Allowing this account to operate undermines Meta’s stated commitment to combating hate speech.
If similar accounts targeting other minority groups emerged, Meta would undoubtedly act swiftly. Why, then, the double standard when it comes to Jews?
Meta must enforce its community standards equitably. Failure to do so not only endangers Jewish creators but also exposes the platform to moral and legal scrutiny.
