Graham’s character and values were evident not only in public service, but also in his private life. He was just 22, and his sister, Darline, was only 13 when they lost both of their parents within 15 months of each other. From that moment on, he became her steadfast source of love, guidance and strength, raising her as his own. His unwavering devotion shaped her life in profound and lasting ways.
Nordone Graham, who is married and has two daughters, works in vocational rehabilitation in South Carolina, where she helps people with disabilities find jobs. Her brother has always been proud of her success.
Nordone Graham was the person closest to Graham. Please send her your condolences upon this devastating loss.
