Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s party recently expressed solidarity with disgraced UK politician Jeremy Corbyn, whose party has been exposed as a hotbed for anti-Semitism.
Former British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn was recently suspended from his party after an official report on the rampant anti-Semitism within the Labour party was released.
Corbyn met his fate after he rejected the findings of the Equality and Human Rights Commission report, “which found Labour responsible for unlawful acts of harassment and discrimination over anti-Semitism,” The Guardian reported.
In the U.S., the far-left group of which New York politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is a member, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), tweeted its support for Corbyn.
“Solidarity with Jeremy Corbyn,” the DDSA posted. “Thank you for always being a champion of the international working class.”
Solidarity with @JeremyCorbyn. Thank you for always being a champion for the international working class.

In addition to AOC, DSA counts among its supporters Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), an anti-Israel activist who has also been accused of anti-Semitism on multiple occasions.
“The organization’s platform is bitterly hostile toward Israel and Zionism, promoting the BDS campaign against the Jewish state,” The Algemeiner reported.
For example, “In August, DSA activists provoked fury among members of the New York State Assembly for issuing what was denounced as a ‘blatantly anti-Semitic litmus test’ to prospective New York City Council candidates,” wrote The Algemeiner.
Ocasio-Cortez, for her part, is a longtime supporter of Corbyn, who was denounced as an anti-Semite in 2018 by former Chief Rabbi of the UK, Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks.
“Now, within living memory of the Holocaust, and while Jews are being murdered elsewhere in Europe for being Jews, we have an anti-Semite as the leader of the Labour Party and her majesty’s opposition. That is why Jews feel so threatened by Mr. Corbyn and those who support him,” Sacks said at the time.
In February 2019, Ocasio-Cortez described “a lovely and wide-reaching conversation” with Corbyn on Twitter.
It was an honor to share such a lovely and wide-reaching conversation with you, @jeremycorbyn!
Also honored to share a great hope in the peace, prosperity, + justice that everyday people can create when we uplift one another across class, race, + identity both at home & abroad. https://t.co/7qnz42I8du

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez must denounce her and the DSA’s support for Corbyn, who permitted anti-Semitism to fester in his party for years!
Tell AOC to take a stand on anti-Semitism!
Send a respectful message to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or use the following template: “Dear Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, I am writing to request that you denounce the Democratic Socialists of America’s recent support for Jeremy Corbyn, who was recently suspended from the Labour Party. Corbyn led the party during a period in which the most vile forms of Jew-hatred were tolerated, and Corbyn himself has been denounced as an anti-Semite by one of the foremost Jewish leaders of his generation, former Chief Rabbi of the UK, Lord Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. The time has come for you to declare that you stand with the Jewish community, and not those who turn a blind eye to anti-Semitism.”
