A 17-year-old boy was lightly injured in a stabbing attack by two Arab teenagers late afternoon in the Old City of Jerusalem. Police caught and arrested the terrorists.

Two 15-year-old Arab terrorists stabbed a 17-year old Jewish boy near the Damascus Gate entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem late Saturday afternoon, just before the end of the Jewish Sabbath.

Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the scene and provided initial treatment before sending the wounded victim to Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center. He is listed in light-to-moderate condition and is fully conscious.

Reports indicate the victim was walking with a friend of the same age when the attack occurred at roughly 5:45 p.m. The other boy managed to escape and call for help.

Just over an hour later,  Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld posted on Twitter, “Police units arrest 2 suspects in attack at Damascus Gate, Old City. Heightened security continues in the area to prevent any further attacks.”
