An Arab construction worker stabbed a fellow employee and the site manager in Modi’in. The victims were evacuated to a hospital in moderate-to-serious condition.

An Arab terrorist stabbed and wounded two Israelis – one moderately, and the other seriously – at a construction site in the central Israeli city of Modi’in on Tuesday afternoon.

The victims were a construction worker, 28, and the site manager, who appeared to be in his early 50s. Police believe the attack was inspired by “nationalist” leanings, which is a euphemism for terrorism.

Other workers at the scene overpowered the terrorist until police arrived. He is under investigation.

Reports indicate that the terrorist, 39, who lives in the Palestinian-administered village of Beit Sirah just east of Modi’in, had received a permit to work in Israel.

Both victims were taken to Tel Hashomer hospital in Ramat Gan, a Tel Aviv suburb.
