Palestinians Welcome Peace Talks by Singing Terror’s Praise

In the face of peace negotiations, PA TV, Fatah’s official facebook page, and other Palestinian propaganda glorify violence.

With peace negotiations now underway, state-run PA TV and Fatah’s official facebook page promote violence and incite hate against Israel and the Jews, Palestinian Media Watch reports.

The talks, whose reported goal is an exchange of peace for an independent Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria based on the 1967 borders, have prompted an escalation of the Palestinian media campaign against Israel.

For example, a PA TV song includes the lyrics, “Oh Palestinians, the revolution is certain, with the rifle we will impose our new life. Oh Palestinians, [the Zionist] shot you with the rifle; the Zionists are killing your doves in your sacred area. Oh Palestinians, I want to go and be with you. Fire is in my hands, and with you attack the snake’s head [Israel].”

Palestinian Media Watch reports that this is the fourth version of this song to be broadcast on PA TV since 2011. The current version was originally performed at a Fatah event in 2011 in front of senior level Fatah officials who included PA President Mahmoud Abbas, PLO Executive Committee Member Hanan Ashwari, Abbas Advisor Sultan Abu Al-Einein, Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki, and PLO Executive Committee Member Abd Al-Rahim Maluh. Another version of the same song shows Palestinian terrorists in training.

Meanwhile, on the eve of peace negotiations, Fatah’s official facebook page has honored Palestinian female terrorists Dalal Mughrabi, Ayat Al Akhras, and Leila Khaled, two of whom died while attacking Israel. The post reads, “Except for you, oh mother of purity, honor and modesty. For you gave yourself only as a [martyr]. Except for you, oh olive branch, oh tree of nobility, oh wellspring of honor. The hardships exhausted you and the pickaxes fell on you, but you were not exhausted and you did not break. For you are the Palestinian woman who gave herself only as a Martyr!”

Dalal Mughrabi hijacked two buses full of Israeli citizens in Tel Aviv on March 11, 1978 at the age of 19. Forcing the occupants onto a single bus, she took them to downtown Tel Aviv where gunfire was exchanged between Israeli security forces and Fatah terrorists. Mughrabi threw a hand grenade at the bus full of hostages, murdering 39 people and wounding 72 others. Al Mughrabi died in the incident.

Ayat Al Akhras was the third and youngest Palestinian female suicide bomber. On March 29, 2002, at the age of 18, she blew herself up at the entrance to the Supersol market in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Kiryat Hayovel, just minutes before the beginning the Jewish Sabbath. A security guard and a young Israeli female teenager named Rachel Levy were murdered, with 20 others were wounded in the blast.

Similarly, Leila Khaled was a Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorist who participated in the hijacking of TWA flight 840 in 1964 and the attempted high-jacking of El Al flight 219 in 1970. No one was killed in either incident, although the TWA flight 840 airplane was blown up after passengers disembarked. Khaled was released as part of a prisoner exchange agreement. Upon her release, she became a member of the Palestinian National Council and appeared regularly at the World Social Forum.

In the past, PA President Mahmoud Abbas honored and rewarded convicted terrorists, and refused to negotiate with Israel without the release of Palestinian terrorists convicted of attacking Israelis.
