Israel’s economy is recovering quickly from the Covid restrictions, a new report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) states.

Israel Army Radio reports that Israel’s gross domestic product will increase by 6.3 percent in 2021 and is expected to increase by around 5 percent in 2022.

Exports rose by over 11 percent, even though the shekel is stronger and world trade decreased, said the report.

According to the assessment, inflation in the Jewish State will hold steady at 2 percent in 2022 and 1.4 percent in 2023.

Israel’s Finance Ministry estimates that the country’s economy will likely increase by 7.1 percent by the end of 2021 and 4.7 percent in 2022.

As good as this news is, however, there are still millions of Israelis who will not enjoy the success.

That’s because today, nearly 500,000 Israeli families live in poverty. And this holiday season, these families are in desperate need of a miracle.

Charitable organizations like Colel Chabad are working during this holiday season to make sure such families are given the basic food staples that they need. Colel Chabad provides them with coupons and food stamps to purchase their holiday meals.

The important role that Colel Chabad plays in Israel’s war on poverty isn’t lost on the Israeli government. That’s why Colel Chabad is among the few non-profit organizations entrusted by the Israeli government to ensure that no Israeli family starves. Your donation provides Colel Chabad with the much-needed funds to get this done.

Can you help feed a hungry Israeli family this holiday season?
