Paul Kessler, un homme juif âgé de 69 ans, est décédé lundi après avoir été blessé dans une altercation lors d’un rassemblement pro-palestinien à Thousand Oaks, au nord-ouest de Los Angeles, selon les autorités. Deux manifestations concurrentes avaient lieu non loin l’une de l’autre, a indiqué le bureau du shérif, l’une pro-palestinienne, l’autre en faveur d’Israël. Paul Kessler était impliqué dans une querelle avec des manifestants pro-palestiniens lorsqu’il a été violemment frappé à la tête avec un mégaphone par un manifestant avant de tomber et de se cogner la tête au sol selon plusieurs témoins.
