HERO’S WELCOME: Israeli Gymnast Brings Home the Gold

Artem Dolgopyat arrived home with his Olympic gold medal and was greeted by cheering fans and family.

Israeli gymnast Artem Dolgopyat made history Sunday when he became the first Israeli to win a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 games. It was also the country’s second-ever Olympic gold in gymnastics.

Israelis  have been beside themselves with excitement and went all out to give the now Israeli celebrity a hero’s welcome.

Greeted by champagne, balloons, and cheering fans, Dolgopyat shared his feelings about the experience and his pride over the win.
