IDF forces arrested a Palestinian man in Hebron suspected of involvement in terror activity.
Illegal weapons were seized, including an M16 rifle and a “Carlo” machine gun often manufactured by Palestinians in Judea and Samaria.
The wanted person who was arrested was handed over for further investigation by the security forces.
Other counter-terror raids took place in Qalqilya and the village of Husan, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.
The IDF is engaged in the months-long Operation Wave Breaker. Near-nightly arrest raids, mostly in the areas of Shechem (Nablus) and Jenin, have foiled hundreds of Palestinian terror attacks. The operation was launched following a spate of deadly Palestinian terror attacks in the spring.
