Prospekt Mira Avenue, the center of Moscow was filled with Muslims who were praying during the recent holiday of Eid al-Adha.
In Moscow, approximately 130,000 Muslims celebrated the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha. About 50,000 people gathered outside the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, with another 50,000 outside the Memorial Mosque in Poklonnaya Gora. Moscow police were on hand, as you can see in the pictures, to ensure public order and security for people at the celebration.
