Despite the profound anti-Semitism and anti-Israel bias at the UN, Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon says we should walk “with our chin up” and continue to tell the truth.

Speaking at a World Zionist Organization conference Sunday at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem, Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon said he feels anti-Semitism constantly.

At the UN, “I live with anti-Semitism 24/7,” he said.

“My family and I represent Israel at the United Nations in New York, a strong Jewish city. We cross one street to the UN building and it’s a “different world,” he said, “where BDS [anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions] is felt every minute of every hour.”

He pointed out that the UN General Assembly passed 22 resolutions against Israel in 2015. Meanwhile, “one resolution was passed against Iran, one against North Korea, and Syria – zero resolutions, even though there are 250,000 dead there. The UN is only talking about Israel.”

According to Danon, “the world wants us to hang our head, in shame, but we should walk with our chin up…

“My message to you is…we have an obligation to tell the truth in the face of lies,” he stated.
