The Israeli coach of the Czech men’s basketball team shook hands with his Iranian counterpart.

Saeid Mollaei was forced by the Islamic Republic to give up his chance to win championship games in 2019 so as not to play against an Israeli.

The Judoka, who defected to seek a life of freedom and now represents Mongolia, dedicated his Olympic silver medal to Israel.

In another move in the spirit of peace, the Israeli coach of the Czech men’s basketball team shook hands with his Iranian counterpart.
