United with Israel readers took action and joined the fight to remove Louis Farrakhan’s Jew-hatred from entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “Revolt TV” YouTube channel!
By United with Israel Staff
Last week, United with Israel asked its readers to step up and stamp out hate by demanding YouTube remove a virulently anti-Semitic July 4 speech by hate-preacher Louis Farrakhan.
As of July 9, the speech was still on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “Revolt” YouTube channel, heading toward a million views. United with Israel, the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, Honest Reporting and others mounted an effort to get YouTube to remove the video for violating its terms of use, which prohibit hate speech.
The campaign succeeded in forcing Diddy to remove the speech from “Revolt TV.”
In the nearly three-hour-long hate-filled tirade, Farrakhan said, “Those of you that say that you’re Jews, I will not even give you the honor of calling you a Jew. You are not a Jew… you are Satan and it is my job now to pull the cover off of Satan so that every Muslim, when he sees Satan, pick up a stone, as we do in Mecca.”
Farrakhan also pushed the pervasive but completely false blood libel that Israel taught tactics to American law enforcement officers that have been denounced during recent protests against police brutality in the U.S.
He claimed, American police are “like snakes trying to wrap [themselves] around us so you could give us the treatment that you were taught in Israel.”
He continued, “You gonna stop your police from going to Israel to learn how to kill better.”
Farrakhan’s speech was widely praised by entertainers and professional sports figures, despite the blatant anti-Semitic and anti-Israel lies.
Farrakhan’s history of anti-Semitism goes back at least four decades and includes calling Adolf Hitler a “very great man” and lies such as the conspiracy theory that “there were many Israelis and Zionist Jews in key roles in the 9/11 attacks”
Unfortunately, Farrakhan’s July 4 speech had been posted by other users, though their viewership pales in comparison to Diddy’s, whose channel has 815,000 subscribers.
Farrakhan’s comments violate YouTube’s policies against hate speech and you can report other channels that spread his July 4 speech and his other diatribes by following the steps below:
(1) Click the three dots (see photo below) above the red subscribe button (next to the word “Save”), and then click “Report” and select “hateful or abusive content,” or another option that suits the issue; or
(2) Write directly to YouTube Vice President Matt Halprin and respectfully voice your concerns (for a template letter composed by the Combat Anti-Semitism Movement specifically geared to the July 4 Farrakhan speech, click here):
