Kent State University is refusing to cave to pressure from anti-Israel student activists to dismantle a display featuring a photo of and quotation by the late Prime Minister Golda Meir — which they claim is a daily reminder of racism on campus — after reportage by The Algemeiner earlier this month generated serious backlash.

Sadly, on many college campuses, anti-Jewish sentiment is strong and is often masked merely as opposition to Israel. College students are indoctrinated from day one against the Jewish state, and are often exposed to one-sided and false information.

Jewish students are the most persecuted minority on US college campuses, a representative of an Israeli advocacy group told Israeli lawmakers during a meeting at the Knesset.

Deterring and defeating anti-Semitic BDS resolutions does not happen in a vacuum. Students have educated themselves, rallied their classmates, and put in the time and effort to prevent their campuses from being hijacked by a handful of students and professors committed to tarnishing Israel’s image.

Anti-Israel student group, Students for Justice in Palestine, from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) responsible for a violent protest against a pro-Israel event is under investigation by the local District Attorney’s (DA) office.

Over the last year, Connecticut College has made decisions that make it appear to espouse anti-Semitic attitudes and seems to turn a blind eye to anti-Israel and anti-Semitic activism on its campus. Protest this anti-Semitism at Connecticut College!
