A South African Universities debating champion describes the virulent anti-Jewish atmosphere on campus and the silencing of any voice in defense of Israel.

Jamie Mighti, a 2016 South African Universities debating champion and a student at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, describes the atmosphere on campus set by BDS activists and other anti-Israel groups that silence any voice in defense of the Jewish state.

The rhetoric on campus is not merely anti-Zionist, he explains, but also anti-Semitic, presenting Jews as the villains.

The goal is not a two-state solution – a Palestinian and a Jewish state living side by side – but, rather, the annihilation of the State of Israel.

Mighti has visited Israel and the Palestinian Authority-run areas, he says, and he knows what he’s talking about.
