The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) has approved anti-Israel advertisements, claiming that the ads meet “viewpoint-neutral standards.” Interestingly, the MBTA has in the past refused to allow the posting of pro-Israel ads.

The city of Boston will be “treated” to a series of anti-Israel advertisements, following their approval by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA). Six other cities will also display the anti-Israel propaganda, Truthrevolt.com reported on Tuesday.

One of the ads features a supposed Palestinian child with the word “violence” written in bold letters. The text reads: “Since September, 2000 Israel’s military has killed one Palestinian child every 4 days, using US tax dollars.” The poster demands the end of US military aid to Israel.

Others posters include the words “homeless” and “stolen” and asks, “Does Israel want peace… or land?” alluding to the fact the Israel has allegedly stolen Palestinian lands.

The posters have been rejected by the MBTA in the past, the authority saying they violated its speech policies.

The American Civil Liberties Union, representing the Palestine Advocacy Project, pursued the issue, and the MBTA subsequently changed its decision and has allowed the anti-Israel campaign, claiming now that the ads meet “viewpoint-neutral standards for all advertising displayed on MBTA property.”

Interestingly enough, the MBTA has in the past refused to allow the posting of pro-Israel ads.

Pamela Geller, a known pro-Israel activist, has petitioned the Supreme Court on the authority’s refusal to approve her “Support Israel” and “Defeat Jihad” messages.

“Imagine, the city of the Boston jihad bombings refusing to run anti-jihad ads. Despicable,” Geller wrote on her site.

Referring to the bombing of the Boston marathon in April 2013 by Islamic terrorists that killed 3 and wounded 264, she wrote ”you would think that officials in Boston would have more sense. In the city where Islamic jihadists sowed murder and mayhem at the Marathon, the MBTA claimed our ads criticizing Islamic anti-Semitism and jihad terror were demeaning to Muslims – as if all Muslims were Jew-haters and jihadists.”
