A survey shows that the majority of Israeli Arabs oppose terror and prefer to continue living under Israeli sovereignty. When comparing their standard of life with the rest of the Middle East, this should not be surprising.

A poll published by Israel’s Channel 10 shows that the majority of Israeli Arabs oppose the use of terrorism against Israeli citizens.

A massive 68 percent of Israeli Arabs who were polled answered that they oppose the recent wave of terror.

However, 29 percent claimed that Israel was to blame for the surge of violence, which they say is a result of frustration felt by Jerusalem’s Arabs.

The majority of the Arabs surveyed – 84% – stated that their representatives in the Knesset should condemn the terror attacks.

Another very telling answer had to do with sovereignty. Israel sovereignty was preferred by a vast 77 percent of the respondents, whereas only 23 percent desired to live under Palestinian rule.

This data is not surprising, as Israel’s Arabs enjoy full equality and benefits from the government. Many serve as judges, police officers, doctors and entrepreneurs, playing important roles in society. Claims of an Israeli Apartheid regime are simply baseless.

Support for Jewish Prayer on Temple Mount

A recent survey conducted by Tel Aviv University (TAU) reveals a most astonishing fact – close to 50 percent of Israel’s Arabs support the right of Jews to worship at the Temple Mount.

Would Jews Be Welcome in a Palestinian Jerusalem?

As for true apartheid, just imagine what would happen if the Palestinians divided Jerusalem. The recent wave of anti-Semitic terror attacks sweeping the globe seeks to do just that – to snatch Jerusalem from the Jews and to keep them out. Looking at what happens across the Middle East, outside of Israel, we can safely say it would not take long for a Palestinian-controlled Jerusalem to exclude all people except Muslims from the city.

For these reasons we must keep Jerusalem united. Click here to sign The Jerusalem Declaration and keep the Holy City open to all people from all faiths.
