After Arabs rioted in Lod, setting fire to a synagogue, Jewish residents salvaged Torah scrolls.
“Lod is burning,” said an Israeli police official as Arab rioters threw firebombs and rocks.
The rioters even set a synagogue on fire, replacing Israeli flags with Palestinian ones.
In this clip, heartbroken Jews remove Torah scrolls from the ashes.
