So many young Israelis are helping their country in a unique way.

National Civil Service (NCS) gives Israeli citizens an opportunity to serve their country in an unconventional way.

For those who have an exemption from IDF service, NCS – in Hebrew, Sherut Leumi – allows its young citizens an opportunity to give back to their country by volunteering in a field of their choice.

NSC volunteers, mostly 18- and 19-year-olds, operate in a wide range of areas, including education, administration, government offices, health, welfare and even the Mossad.

Meet these exceptional youngsters.
