‘The entire world celebrated the deal with North Korea, but it turned out to be a very, very bad deal,’ Prime Minister Netanyahu said ahead of the signing of the Iran nuclear deal. Will history repeat itself?

North Korea announced on Friday that it conducted a “higher level” nuclear warhead test explosion that will allow it to finally build “at will” an array of stronger, smaller and lighter nuclear weapons.

In October 1994, in a deal signed with the U.S., North Korea agreed to shut down its main nuclear reactor. Then U.S. President Bill Clinton praised the agreement, saying, “This is a good deal for the United States… The entire world will be safer.”

Based on what is happening with North Korea, we can only ask: Was Netanyahu right? Will history repeat itself?
