Palestinian leaders have been pressuring US President Trump to endorse a two-state “solution” for Israel and the Palestinians.
Those leaders themselves, however, are giving every indication that they still support the “phased plan” in which an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel serves as a temporary step toward the destruction of Israel.
A prime example can be seen on official Palestinian TV, where children are encouraged to sing about a bird that flies over all of “my country Palestine” amid a call for Arabs to “return” to Israeli cities such as Safed, Tiberias, Jaffa, Acre, and Haifa.
