French Jewish philosopher Bernard-Henri Georges Lévy said that first, “such a pogrom” as occurred on October 7 “was unthinkable.”

Second, the massacre happened “in Israel – which was built to prevent” such pogroms from occurring again.

Third, he said, he was shocked to see “not a wave of support but … joy. Great professors in American universities said (October 7) was a great day in their lives.”
