Guatemala opened its embassy in Jerusalem just days after the US did so, continuing the Latin American nation’s longstanding tradition of supporting the Jewish state.
From the State of Israel’s founding until today, Guatemala has proven itself to be a true friend of Israel.
This week, Guatemala took another step to solidify its alliance with Israel, recognizing that Jerusalem is the nation’s capital by moving its embassy there.
