Commentator Mosab Hassan Yousef, a son of a Hamas cofounder, told Chris Cuomo on News Nation that the ICC decision to issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant “shows the level of corruption and absurdity of the situation.”
Yousef said the ICC’s “responsibility number one” should have been to condemn Hamas, but, caving to Chinese and Russian pressure, they have failed to do this since the beginning of the war.
“It’s their responsibility to bring these war criminals to justice, and they are not doing that. Instead, they have been pressuring Israel, because they want Israel to surrender. This is their goal. And they want to give Hamas terrorists, who committed the worst genocide of our lifetime, a lifeline,” he said, adding that “The blood in Gaza in on Hamas’ hands,” not Israel’s.
At the same time, he noted, the ICC has issued an arrest warrant for Mohammad Deif – a Hamas terrorist who was confirmed dead several months ago.
