Archaeologists digging near the Sea of Galilee discovered ancient bronze tools used for ceremonial purposes in the Holy Temple of Jerusalem 2000 years ago.
The Land of Israel is a dream for archaeologists, who continually find evidence of Jewish history dating back to the patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – some 4,000 years ago.
Most recently, together with volunteers from Chile, Israeli archaeologists found ancient bronze tools belonging to the Second Temple in Jerusalem, including a shovel used by the priests for ceremonial purposes, in the city of Migdal (Magdala), north of the Sea of Galilee.
