Israel’s Home Front Command lent its superior expertise to the search for survivors during horrific Miami tragedy.

Following the collapse of the Champlain Towers building in Miami, Israel’s Home Front Command unit rushed to the disaster site to provide crucial aid, support, and expertise.

Using superior technology and know-how, the IDF’s operational analysis team of the Intelligence Directorate’s Unit 9900, which specializes in visual intelligence, built a 3D model to map the collapsed building to streamline the process of locating missing persons at the site of the disaster.

While sadly the rescue mission has turned into a recovery operation, there is no doubt that Israel’s assistance helped located victims and bring closure to dozens of families.

We are proud of our brave soldiers for providing assistance during the United States’ time of need.
