“Was a joy and a thrill to perform tonight with Governor Mike Huckabee and his band from the Holy City of Jerusalem,” tweeted Friedman.

US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman took up a six-string and performed with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in Jerusalem on Tuesday, Arutz-7 reported.

Joining Huckabee’s band for a rendition of Lynyrd Skynard’s classic 1973 song “Sweet Home Alabama”, Ambassador Friedman played guitar alongside Huckabee on bass guitar.

“Was a joy and a thrill to perform tonight with Governor Mike Huckabee and his band from the Holy City of Jerusalem,” tweeted Friedman.

“No worries, I am keeping my day job,” he quipped.
