Sarah Zoabi calls herself a “proud Arab, Muslim, Zionist Israeli” and is willing to face the threats and abuse she encounters for her courageous stance.
“We live in paradise. Compared to other countries, to Arab countries – we live in paradise,” declared Sarah Zoabi when she addressed the Knesset several years ago.
While Zoabi says she faces abuse for her outspoken stance on the Jewish state and her willingness to speak truth to power in public, on social media, and in her Arab-Israeli community, she also says there are plenty of other Arabs that agree with her.
