IDF soldiers on the Lebanon border used a remote-controlled robot to avoid a potential booby-trap laid by the Hezbollah terror group.
The Israeli military uses the most cutting-edge weapons available, including the latest robotics technology.
This week, IDF soldiers found a Hezbollah flag planted on the Lebanon border, which could have been booby-trapped with a bomb. The flag was placed on the security fence near Sheba Farms.
The soldiers used a remote-controlled robot to remove the flag amid concerns of an ambush similar to the 2018 Gaza border incident, when four IDF soldiers were injured, two seriously, by a booby-trapped flag planted on the border fence.
