The Israeli Air Force makes history again by being the first to use theĀ F-35 in combat operations.

In 1979 Israeli Air Force ace, Moshe Melnik, used his new F-15 to shoot down a MiG-25 over Lebanon. This gave the Israeli Air Force the distinction of being the first to use the state-of-the-art F-15 in combat.

In April 2018, somewhere over Lebanon, an unknown Israeli pilot opened fire on Iranian Army positions inside Syria with the brand-new F-35, making history again for the Jewish state.
