So much Israeli history was made in Abu Dhabi in just a matter of days.

Israeli Sports and Culture Minister Miri Regev made history when she visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the United Arab Emirates.

The mosque is the third-largest in the world after Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

Regev, the first Israeli minister to officially visit the UAE, wore traditional Arab garb and signed the mosque’s guest book in Hebrew. She was in the country to witness Israel’s moving victories at the Judo match in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
