IsraAID CEO Yotam Polizer discusses the humanitarian NGO’s efforts in Haiti in the wake of the weekend hurricane in Haiti.

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the small island of Haiti on Saturday, claiming the lives or more than 1,400 people, injuring thousands and leaving tens of thousands homeless.

Thankfully, there are groups on the ground to assist with relief efforts, including Israelo humanitarian NGO IsraAID.

Indeed, Israelis have been at the forefront on international rescue efforts following disasters, including in Haiti in 2010 and, most recently, the Miami building collapse.
