These young Israelis in Samaria produce all-natural artisanal soaps, gathering the ingredients from the hills and fields surrounding Kochav Hashachar.

Nestled in a small village in Samaria overlooking the Jordan Valley sits a workshop where young Israelis with special needs create fragrant soaps and natural cosmetics from medicinal plants, essential oils, and local minerals

The project is the brainchild of Shlomo Keshet, who came up with the idea for Adva Natural as he explored activities for his son with Down Syndrome, Elnatan.

Now, Adva is a thriving operation that employs a staff of Israelis with special needs and attracts tourists to its dynamic soap-making workshops in the biblical heartland.
