Footage from the Syrian side of the border shows balls of fire lighting up the sky during a strike attributed to Israel.
“Great video of what appears to be three separate explosions occurring on the ground during suspected Israeli airstrikes Monday night,” explains Middle East defense expert Joe Truzman in a post on Twitter showing Syrian shot footage of the incident.
The strike occurred earlier this week and Syrian sources admitted four “foreign fighters” were eliminated, who may have been Iranian militiamen. The Hezbollah terror group also announced it sustained losses in the strike.
Truzman continues, “Difficult to say if the explosions are from Syrian air defense interceptors or Israeli munitions.”
