One year passed since the U.S. officially opened its embassy in Jerusalem, a momentous event that ushered in a new era in U.S.-Israel relations.

In the year since the U.S. moved its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Israel has improved relations with the wider Arab world, sent a spacecraft on a moon mission, and continued to take out its place as one of the most technologically advanced nations in the world.

As Israel celebrates the one year anniversary of this momentous occasion, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked President Donald Trump again and expressed great hope for the Jewish state and its indestructible bond with its greatest ally, America.
