Watch and listen to immigrants from around the world talk about what they love about living in Israel and what the Jewish state means to them.

Today, Israel celebrates “Aliyah Day” in honor of the olim, new immigrants to Israel.

Established in 2016, Aliyah Day is celebrated on the seventh day of the Hebrew month of Cheshvan, coinciding with the reading of the Torah portion in which the biblical Abraham is told by God to leave his home and his family to settle in the Land of Israel.

Happy Aliyah Day!
