“For those without financial support, to study is a privilege, whereas it should be the ABC of life.”

Created in 1994, the Hanan Aynor foundation has given some 4,500 Israelis of Ethiopian origin access to higher education.

Higher education improves integration not only into the labor market, but into Israeli society in general, the foundation explains.

The foundation gives priority to older people for whom it might soon be too late as well as to single mothers.
