WATCH: Paraguayan President Says, ‘I Am a Jew,’ Vows Embassy Relocation to Jerusalem

In a recent speech, the President of Paraguay, Santiago Peña Palacios, announced a firm commitment to Israel and promised to move the Paraguayan embassy to Jerusalem, signifying strong support for Israel.

He emphasized Paraguay’s dedication to being on the right side of history and of the Jewish people, and that now is not the time to be ‘timid’ or ‘lukewarm.’

Palacios then spoke about the rise in antisemitism across the world and the need to protect Israel’s right to live and defend itself against attacks, and capped off his speech by proclaiming, ‘I am a Jew.’
