“I never thought that  I would live to see the day that Bahrain and Israel would establish political, diplomatic ties with each other,” says Ahdeya  Al Sayed.

Ahdeya  Al Sayed, head of the Bahrain Journalists Association, is very optimistic about the new Bahrain-Israel agreement, calling it “a dream come true” in an interview with i24 News.

Al Sayed also expresses disappointment with her Palestinian colleagues, citing the need for change in the PA leadership and the rockets from Gaza aimed at Israeli civilians.

The agreement, she says, is good for the region and a “slap in the face” to the Iranian regime.
