This stunning video shows the ancient city of Shiloh, where Israel hosts its annual Bible Marathon.
In the Book of Samuel, we learn about the end of the war between the Israelites and the Philistines. We are told that a “man of Benjamin” ran from the battlefield at Eben Ezer (modern day Rosh Ha’ayin) to Shiloh, where the holy tabernacle stood in ancient times. He was on a mission to inform Eli the High Priest of their defeat in the war, the falling of the king’s sons and the tragic news that the Ark of the Covenant had been captured.
Now that the Jewish people are home again, people re-enact the run through the Bible Marathon. This video shows you the gorgeous scenery.
