Former President of Israel, Chaim Herzog, showed the UN in 1975 that Israel will never succumb to the hateful anti-Semitism so often expressed there.

In 1975, the UN stood to vote on the most preposterous resolution ever considered up to that point in the General Assembly. Some member states wanted to convince others that Zionism equals racism.

One man, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, stood before them and showed them just how wrong they were by symbolically ripping up the resolution.

His closing remarks are nothing short of historic and should be heard by all.
