Praising Haley’s remarks, Danon says it’s time for the UN to stop bashing Israel and instead do a “reality check” on the Middle East.

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon praised Nikki Haley, the US envoy, for saying “exactly the truth” – namely, that it’s about time the world body changed its policy on the Middle East.

Haley’s remarks call for a “reality check,” Danon stated.

The UN must condemn violence, and Israel will not be intimidated by wild protests, he said.

President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital will ultimately help the peace process, not destroy it, Danon explained, pointing to the lack of progress and failed policies over the last 20 years.
