Omri Casspi, the first Israeli-drafted NBA player, has officially decided to retire from the sport.

Omri Casspi made waves in the basketball world when he became the first Israeli to be drafted to the NBA.

This week Casspi announced that after ten seasons with the NBA and another two playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv, he will be officially retiring from the sport.
