The US State Department stumbles over whether it believes the European Union decision to label Israeli products from Judea and Samaria is considered a boycott or not.
The US State Department appears to be very clear about the fact that it opposes any boycott against Israel.
When asked if the labeling of products made in Judea and Samaria could be considered a boycott, the State Department is less sure.
Perhaps such a move could be considered as a step towards a boycott. Either way, the State Department doesn’t know what to call it.
And since they don’t know what to call it, they aren’t about to condemn the EU’s move either.
